Today I went shopping, with a friend. What I was told has infuriated me.
( Remember; This is what was told to me by someone[5] who knew Bill before meeting me
and who has nothing to gain by fabricating.)
"Nobby quit!" . . . Nobby moved a plant! . . . Yes, I owe him money! . . . I've changed
the locks . . . I've told 'them all' to return all the keys. . . Nobby stole my freezer.
. . I had to pay the straight girls who worked there. . . I told Nobby to take his pay
out of the days take but he said that he'd prefer not to. . . The cash does not match the
tape at the Beach. . .
My hands are shaking while I type this!
I did not quit!
A 6' silk Ficus tree, which was stolen from the Hampton Inn, by Bill, was blocking the
store-room door. Bill had put a book, some CDs and other personal 'stuff' of mine in the
storage room. I moved the tree to look for my 'stuff'. I never found any of it.[6]
Bill admits to owing me money but accuses me of stealing money. I don't get it.
Where is the money you owe me Bill?
Why would he change the locks? To give credence to his lies or is his lying so
pathological that he is beginning to believe them, himself.
Who 'All' has/had keys. Had I left the front door key in the register, I would not
have been able to lock the store. As mentioned, elsewhere, I waited for an hour after
normal opening time, but he failed to show. Why?
Bill needed space in the store for the Memorial day merchandise. I offered to store the
freezer for him at the Bloomsdale house. He knew exactly where it was. The fact that he
took off when he knew I was moving and have nowhere to store it at my new location, is
hardly my responsibility.
Bill never paid anyone who worked at the Hampton! Period! [7][8][9][10][11]
Having employees pay themselves out of the cash register is not a good idea! I told Ron
and Bill that I'd prefer to be paid by them. When Bill 'took off', after telling me that
I'd be paid the day after he left and Paul informing me that I was no longer needed, and
calling the next day to say that he'd misunderstood Bill and that I should work that
weekend . . . paying myself 'part' of what was owed, seemed the prudent thing to do. To
trust Bill to pay me would have been stupid. It had taken awhile but I'd learned not to
trust Bill.
An unusual occurrence happened on the evening of the last day at the Hampton. I noticed
it but did not make anything of it at the time. Now it is significant.
Ever since I started working at the store, Bill has, always, before doing anything else,
counted money. Even if he just stops in for a few minutes for some other reason, he
counts money.
After packing up everything at the Hampton, I returned to the store and gave Bill the
money bag. He did not open it! he simply put it in the drawer. I asked whether he was
going to count it and he said, abruptly, "later". I was tired and not feeling well so
did not say anything more.
Sorry! But that is too much of a coincidence for me. Now, when its time to pay me, that
bag comes up short. I don't think so. ( Big surprise for you Bill!)
What better way to weasel out of not paying someone than by accusing them of stealing.

I responded to one of the email's that I'd received and asked to be told exactly what Bill
says that I'd done.
This is the response that I just read!
Nobby,
I just didn't feel I wanted to be the one to share it with you. I figured it
you wanted to tell me that would be good. If not, it was your secret.
All I heard is you stole 500 and they were down another 500 making it a
total loss of $1000. I just can't and won't believe it.
Have you talked to Bill? The story I got is that he wanted to talk to you,
but that's been several days ago.
There is not a shred of truth to any of this! If he said it, Bill is a Liar!
Bill was the first to know where I was moving to. He also knew that I'd be in the store that
Sunday morning, but he failed to show to open the store. He saw me at The Roundup, but chose
to ignore me. Now he tells everyone that he wants to talk to me. Well! Talk to me bill. Bring
cash. You still owe me.
A thought just crossed my mind; Did Bill spend too much money in Memphis setting Ron up in his
new apartment and has to account for the missing money, someway. Possible.
Which suppliers are still owed money and haven't been paid? What better excuse than this.

Today I wrote this letter to Bill.

Bill,
Until recently, I was simply hurt and disappointed at the cavalier manner in which you terminated me.
The fact that you did not extend to me the courtesy of explaining why, hurt. To have used Paul was cold.
I just learned that there is far more to this than simply terminating me. Some of the things being said about me, purportedly coming from you are totally unacceptable.
You are very well aware, of the fact , that I have never stolen anything from you or, anyone else, for that matter.
Just what is it that you are trying to accomplish?
If this is a ploy to renege and not pay me the monies owed, it is a grave error on your part. I have never been accused of stealing and you, being the first will either recant or I will be left no choice in the matter. I cannot let this rest.
I am dumbfounded that you would do such a thing. I really thought that we were friends.
If you have not already done so, please pick up your freezer.
Please avail yourself of someone's computer and go to the following URL.

No one has been given this web page, yet. It is my way of telling as many people as I can, that what they are being told, is absolutely bogus.
The site is far from complete but I can't let this go on any longer without doing something to protect myself.
A written apology, is the least that I will accept.
Sincerely,
(signed)Nobby

Just spoke to Bill. He said in reference to this site; " I've read it. I love it."
Does that mean that he agrees with what I've said!? Got me!

This is now ludicrous!
The reason Bill did not get (Note! Not renew.) insurance on his truck was because he didn't want me
driving it if I was intoxicated.
Bull! The tags had expired a week before Memorial day weekend.
Unbeknown to me, I'd been driving the truck for months without insurance.
Insurance had been thru Ron's mother.
Again, a fight caused cancellation of that arrangement.
He'd been driving without insurance since before I, even, arrived in Pensacola.
He is; quote "one point away from losing my license."
A few weeks before Memorial Day weekend, (Please excuse me for using Memorial weekend as a point of
reference but, it simply is the point around which all this evolves.) Bill was stopped by a
Pensacola police officer after spending some time at Emerald City.
She gave him a break! He was allowed to lock up his truck and take a cab home. [12]
I'm the reason he didn't have insurance or a current tag? Yeah! Bill!
What will tomorrow bring? I couldn't even hazard a guess.
Ah! Yes! Tomorrow is Sunday. The failed scam involving the MCC Church. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________
